Making a Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Simply browse our online shop and add any bouquets or gifts that you wish to buy to your shopping cart. Once you have finished your selection, click on the Checkout button and you will be asked for a few details that we need in order to complete your order.

Flower Availability and Substitutions

Please note that due to the seasonal availability of flowers, it may be necessary to vary individual stems from those shown.

Our skilled florists may substitute flowers for similar flowers in style, quality and value. Where our designs include a sundry item, such as a vase or basket, it may not always be possible to include the exact item as displayed. If this happens, we will make every effort to replace the item with a suitable alternative.

Payments

We accept most debit and credit card payments, including Visa, Mastercard and Maestro.

If you are shopping from outside the UK, you may place your order and your card company will convert the transaction into your own local currency.

You may also order and pay for flowers over the phone by calling us.

Order Confirmation and Contract

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us.

We will indicate acceptance of your order, and therefore a contract between us, when payment has been processed.

We have included this term to protect us in the event that a mistake has been made in pricing, goods have been inadvertently under-priced, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason.

In the case of a change in price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Cancellations

Orders that are cancelled online or via the phone may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Orders cannot always be cancelled once flowers, plants, sundries, materials or stock have been ordered, prepared, made, dispatched or delivered.

Bespoke, Custom and Personalised Items

All bespoke, custom-made, personalised or specially requested floral items are made specifically to the customer’s requirements.

This includes, but is not limited to, bespoke bouquets, funeral tributes, wedding flowers, event flowers, arrangements made to a specific colour scheme, specific flower request, size, style, budget or personal instruction.

Once a bespoke, custom-made or personalised order has been confirmed, it cannot be returned, cancelled, exchanged or taken for store credit.

Pre-Ordered Bespoke Items

Pre-ordered bespoke items are made, ordered or reserved especially for the customer.

Once a pre-order for a bespoke item has been placed and confirmed, it cannot be cancelled and no refund or store credit will be given.

This includes, but is not limited to, pre-ordered arrangements for weddings, funerals, events, seasonal occasions, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Christmas, or any other made-to-order floral product.

Fresh Flowers and Perishable Goods

Fresh flowers, plants and floral arrangements are perishable goods. Due to their fresh and delicate nature, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds once they have been collected or delivered.

We take care of our flowers and ensure freshness and quality at all times.

If there is a problem with your order, please contact us as soon as possible, preferably within 24 hours of collection or delivery. We may ask for photographs so that we can review the issue.

Delivery Schedule

Orders received before 1pm Monday to Saturday UK time for UK delivery will be delivered on the same day if required.

Orders received before 11am on Tuesday and Saturday UK time for UK delivery will be delivered on the same day if required.

Orders received after these times, and international orders, are generally delivered the following day.

Orders with a specified delivery date will be delivered on that day, provided the order has been received before the same-day cut-off time shown above.

Orders placed to be delivered on a public holiday will be delivered on the next working day.

Online deliveries can only be made within the UK. To send flowers overseas, please telephone us.

Timed Deliveries

We do not offer timed deliveries, except for funeral tributes and weddings.

Please telephone us if you have an emergency order.

If you require specific flowers, please telephone us at least 24 hours before delivery is required.

Delivery Attempts

Orders are delivered once.

If the recipient is not home, the flowers or plant will be returned to the shop and a delivery note will be left informing them that delivery was attempted and that the flowers or plant should be collected from the shop, unless other arrangements have been made.

If a neighbour is home, we will try to leave the flowers or plant with them, providing they are willing to take responsibility for the delivery.

If the recipient is physically unable to collect their flowers or plant, a new delivery date will be arranged with the recipient at U-Floria’s earliest convenience.

U-Floria Florist is not responsible for theft or damage to flowers, plants or sundries once they have been left.

VAT and Tax Charges

Orders are inclusive of 20% VAT.

Credit Card Security

When an order is placed on our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 256-bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any website.
